Jawatan Kosong Nafas - Pertubuhan Peladang Kebangsaan (NAFAS) has been embodied in 31 Mac 1972 by the Prime Minister of Malaysia Ke-2, Allahyarham Tun Abdul Razak bin Hussein Al-Haj. In early penubuhannya, BREATH recognized as the National Union of cultivators have been registered under the 1967 Act and the cultivators Unity acts as umbrella body for farming unions across the country. Unity embodiment cultivators on when it has been inspired by Tun Abdul Razak himself Allahyarham results than his trip to Taiwan.

Along with circulation period and to allow movement of the tiller moves forward, farming unions and Syarikat-Syarikat farmer cooperative principles have been laid down throughout Malaysia and become Pertubuhan farming areas and under the Deed berdaftar cultivators Pertubuhan 1973. Then, along with the change in the ranking of the region and the country, the National Association of farming has also been registered originally as 'cultivators Pertubuhan Nationality' in 1984. So 31 Disember 2010. BREATH has 14 pieces Pertubuhan dianggotai by shifting State, which dianggotai by 291 Pertubuhan farming areas, which dianggotai by 800.272 expert cultivators across the country completes the three ratings pertubuhan cultivators.

Jawatan Kosong LPP - Lembaga Pertubuhan Peladang (LPP) was formed on 14 February, 1973 through legislation of LPP Act 1973 (Act 110), Farmers’ Organisation Authority Act. The formation of LPP was aimed to shoulder responsibility to assist in lifting agro society economy and social under one body that plays specific role.Act 109 of the Farmers Organisation Act 1973 was specifically enacted to restructure farmers’ association and agriculture based cooperative. Under this Act, farmers’ association was abolished and reregistered as farmers’ organisation, meanwhile, agriculture based cooperative became members unit to PP. Currently, there are 1531 agriculture based cooperatives and 119 farmers’ association that serve for agro society in rural area.

LPP functions as stipulated in the Act , are as follows : -
  • To promote, encourage and undertake economic and social organizations of farmers .
  • To register, regulate and supervise the Farmers' organizations and to provide for matters connected therewith.
  • If a declaration has been made through an announcement below to Section 10 , to plan and melaksanan an agricultural development in Area Farmers respect : and
  • To control and coordinate the implementation of these activities .
LPP perform all these activities can be grouped in three major functions : the functions of the Registrar: function as Managing Agent : and function as an agent of development .

i . functions of Registrar

LPP is the Director General of the Organization of the Registrar ( PP ) and agriculture -based society and is responsible for registering , monitoring and controlling include the accounts of all PP and a society based on agriculture . Powers and duties of the agency and registrar relates to :
  • Registrar PP and agriculture -based society
  • Supervise and control all activities of PP and agriculture -based society .
  • Audit and control accounts
  • Cancellation of registration including a repeal of the establishment and
  • Provide education and training for members
Registrar has appointed the Chief Executive of the concerned agencies as its representative to facilitate the smooth and effective tasks and responsibilities of the registrant in the MADA , KADA and Sarawak. LPP directors were also appointed . Yet the power to establish, register , suspend , delete , etc. are still held by the Registrar.

ii . Management Functions
  • LPP provides management services PP to launch operations and implement them efficiently. services rendered including personnel administration , management services , the training of PP and consultancy services.
iii . function Development
  • The main thrust of LPP is to explore the economic and social development of PP and implement an efficient and integrated to boost the earnings of the next PP benefit to members . Under the Ninth Malaysia Plan 9 (2006 - 2010) , the Federal Government has allocated RM291 million * dedicated to social and economic development of PP .
