Jawatan Kosong PPUKM - Pusat Perubatan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia - Pusat Perubatan UKM an academic medical center that has been created by the merger of the Faculty of Medicine and teaching hospitals, Hospital UKM. This merger unites great learning and research capabilities of academic and clinical facilities established by the hospital staff. This innovative step change these institutions to make it one of the premier academic medical center.

History begins when the center of the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia was established on 30th May 1972. Formation is based on the aspirations of the people to create a national medical institutions use Bahasa Malaysia as the language of instruction. Aspirations at that time was to produce local doctors, who are trained and caliber, to overcome the shortage of doctors in Malaysia, especially to serve in rural areas. Initially, Hospital Kuala Lumpur used as teaching hospitals. In 1997, the National University of Malaysia has set up its own teaching hospital, Hospital and Faculty of Medicine UKM has been transferred to the Hospital UKM in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

On 20th February 2008, the Vice Chancellor of the National University of Malaysia, Assoc. Tan Sri Dato 'Dr. Sharifah Hapsah Syed Hasan Shahabudin has produced top management decision to combine UKM Faculty of Medicine and Hospital UKM to be an academic medical center consolidation called UKM Medical Centre. Prof. Dato 'Dr. Lokman Saim has been appointed as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Director of Medical Centre on 28th February 2008. He is assisted by a Chief Operating Officer (KPO) and 5 Deputy Dean. Chief Operating Officer ensuring that the services and hospital management is done smoothly and without disruption to care satisfaction of patients and customers while Deputy Dean has specific responsibilities as set out in their office - Deputy Dean of Undergraduate Studies and Public Relations, Deputy Dean of Graduate Studies and International Relations, Vice Dean of Development and Human Resources, Deputy Dean of Clinical Services and Deputy Dean of Research and Industry.

Mission Medical Centre is to provide quality education to health professionals and the best service based on research, evidence-based medicine, innovation and social sensitivity. Our vision is to be the forefront of academic medical centers and competitive knowledge-based, innovation and health professionals is highly dedicated to the development of a healthy and knowledgeable.

Medical Centre, through the Faculty of Medicine has established the undergraduate medical program. It is an integrated medical curriculum for 5 years based on bio-medical knowledge and clinical skills, emphasizing the importance of medicine and community and personal and professional development of students. The faculty is also the center of first choice for undergraduate courses for specialist doctors in more than 15 clinical specialties program undergraduate and sub-specialties. We have groups of highly respected research between academics in the field of bio-medical science and medical disciplines.
