Jawatan Kosong TUDM - Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia - TUDM is the Air Force in the Armed Forces. The team is tasked to defend the airspace of Malaysia and equipped with fighter jets and transport.
Sejarah Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) began when the Air Force Ordinance passed by Parliament on Monday, June 2, 1958 and the current set up is known as "The Royal Air Force of the Federation".
Air Commodore A.V.R. Johnstone an officer of the British Royal Air Force (RAF) was seconded to become an advisor to the government of the Federation of Malaya and later was appointed as Chief of Staff of the Air Force first.
He is responsible for preparing the establishment of the Royal Air Force Federation for newly independent countries in terms of organization, human resources, asset and service conditions. As the youngest fleet in the Armed Forces during the earliest members are made ??up of seconded officers and members of the British Royal Air Force.
A group of officers and members of the Royal Air Force pioneered Federation was changed from the British Royal Air Force in November 1958.
